I'm back!

I totally suck and haven't been posting but I HAVE been losing....

So last week I was away at a conference and had gained 2+ pounds.  I did exercise but the meals were buffet, the vegetables coated in butter and there was no low calorie dressing for the salad which happened to be the only partially healthy option.

I got right back on track when I got home, though, weighed myself again on Monday and had lost the extra pounds plus some.

Since I moved into my new house I am down 21.8 pounds and dropped into a decade I haven't seen in three years.  I want to lose 18.2 more pounds for sure and hopefully 11 more after that.  I have to break it up that way so it doesn't seem like I'm not even half way there.  I'm making small goals and I will continue to re-assess.  Right now I feel like my body looks better than it did when I was 10 pounds lighter simply because I have more muscles.

I gave up Mountain Dew for Lent because right now I think all of the sugar is making it harder for my body to get rid of the fat.  I am also giving up smoking.   Friday will be the last day I smoke a cigarette and if anyone sees me smoking or smells smoke on me after that you officially have my permission to kick my ass. I am too poor to smoke and am working too hard to be in good shape to ruin it with a stupid habit.

Wow! You've made some great progress! Way to go! And awesome about giving up Mountain Dew and smokes. I am trying to quit too. I am hoping next week I can post that I am ciggie-free!
