I haven't really been doing that well. It is really hard being home all day! I honestly have pretty much been eating what I want, when I want it. Which is the absolute worst thing you can do. I've been trying to make more of an effort to get out and do things. I figure every day that I get away from the fridge for a while is a step in the right direction.
I am trying not to really set goal on losing weight, but more get into shape. Over the last week or so I have noticed that even when I am hanging laundry, my arms get tired. Which is really pathetic, I know. But living in a small one story house, and not getting out too much because it's Winter, I don't really get much activity unless I make an effort to get it. Which is what I going to try really hard to work on.
Today I did 21 minutes on the elliptical. I wanted to die the entire time, my legs were killing me. I had it on the least resistance, but the highest incline. I think it works the front and the back if you are inclined more. Then I did my old medicine ball exercises that Erin gave to me a few years ago. I had a huge success with them when I did them before. If I remember correctly I lost like 4 inches in my waist in less than two weeks. It slowed down of course but I did continue to see results. I also think it helps a lot with my arms so I am going to try and do the elliptical/medicine ball combo at least a few times a week.
One thing I have been better at lately is not using so much butter! It has so many calories. I was often having toast with butter for breakfast and always putting butter on my steamed veggies. I have been trying to just pepper my veggies and have fruit and yogurt for breakfast. We'll see how it goes. I think I am going to do my measurements tonight and try to stay on top of those as well as pounds. I'll post any loss/gain in a week or so.
Are you all weighing in on the same or different days?

Sara - That is great - you're doing awesome! If you keep that up I know you'll lose some inches! Have you tried the butter spray? It's pretty good because you still get that butter taste!

Your post was awesome and very honest. I think it is so awesome that we are all supporting each other and being accountable for whatever are our goals. I am so proud of you for doing your elliptical/medicine ball workout.
I weigh in on Saturday but everyone weighs in on their own day. I'm not exactly sure about everyone else.
You are awesome!
My weigh in day is Monday and I think that is when J & J weigh in also.
I weigh in on Mondays. I think you are doing awesome! I am having a hard time staying under my points limit, but started exercising to help out a bit too. I figure small changes that I can do forever are much better than crash dieting for a week or a month! And 21 minutes on the elliptical is awesome! What a great start!
